GLYCOL ETHERS AS HAPs

Q:  With regard to HAPs, for glycol ethers, is the definition all inclusive or do some glycol ethers not meet this definition?

A: According to Section 112(a)(11)(b)(1) it appears that all glycol ethers are considered to be HAPS.  The regulation itself refers to mono- and di- ethers of ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol and triethylene glycol.
