FINDING ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS Q. I need to find regulations for air pollution, wastewater, and hazardous waste. Also, I need to find the processes that the treatment plants use to clean up waste produced by the paint and coatings industry. A. For the most part, the air pollution regulations can be found at www.epa.gov. You will need to spend quite some time on the site looking for what you want. An alternative is to write to the Air Pollution Consultant. This is an outstanding journal, but very pricey, that covers everything on air pollution and RCRA that you are looking for. Perhaps the best source of information for environmental regulations is the Air and Waste Management Association in Pittsburg, PA (http://www.awma.org). They have books, journals, and everything you could possibly want on environmental topics. I strongly suggest that you visit their website and browse their bookstore. For the latest information on all environmental topics you can purchase their CD-ROM that covers the 2002 annual conference. You will see it advertised on their site.
