| PAINTING FOR ASTHMA PATIENTS Q. I need to know what type of paint is safe to use in the bedroom of a child that has asthma. A. Unfortunately, I do not have a definitive answer for you, partially because you haven't identified to which ingredients the child is allergic. You would do well to call the environmental or industrial hygiene department of some of the large paint corporations, such as Sherwin-Williams, Kelly Moore, Spraylat, etc. They have clearly dealt with such problems in the past. You will find these companies listed on the Internet. The webmaster or contact person might have the appropriate answer.
