HIGH TEMPERATURE PAINTS Q. I am looking for a suitable paint which can be applied to the external surface of domestic hot water tanks (mild steel surface). The paint would be subject to flue gas temps of 250°C while the tank surface will be nearer to 80°C. The flue gases are slightly acid with a PH4. WHO SELLS COMPLIANT COATINGS? Q: Occasionally I am told by an end-user company that the coating supplier can't provide the company with a compliant coating. Is there a short list of companies that specialize in compliant coatings? If so, where can I find the list?
